Access UK, is a new online visa application form for visitors. It has already launched in China, India and Thailand and it is now ready to launch for India Spoke Customers in Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan and Bhutan.
The new form is quicker and shorter for customers to fill in. It is available in more languages and the completed form can be downloaded to pre-populate a Schengen visa application form, making it easier for customers to apply for both visas at the same time.
All customers applying for a visit visa Bhutan will be able to apply via Access UK. The form is available via www.gov.uk/checkukvisa

Please note that the British Honorary Consulate in Bhutan does not issue United Kingdom Visas, and plays no part in the visa issuing process.

UK Visas & Immigration launch new video aimed at first time visitors to the UK
In order to reassure first time visitors to the UK that the visa process is straightforward, UKVI has launched a new video to explain each step of the process – from filling out the form online, giving fingerprints at the Visa Application Centre to receiving the visa. The UK Visa Application Centre is in Thimphu Plaza, across the main road from the Drukair Office in Changlam.
Regional Director for UK Visas & Immigration for South and Southeast Asia, Nick Crouch, said:
“Our visa system is designed to make it as straightforward as possible for customers to apply for their visas. This video is another example of the improvements we are making to the visa service to make it quicker and easier for Bhutanese visitors to apply for a UK visa. They will receive a warm welcome in the UK we hope to see more visitors choose the UK next year.”
