Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Bhutan on 14th-16April 2016. They were received in Audience by Their Majesties The King and Queen in Tashichodzong in the afternoon of 14th April.
They then attended an Archery Match hosted by HRH Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck in Changlimithang, and also met pupils from Draktsho School and Ability Bhutan. In the evening they were entertained to a private Dinner at Linkana Palace by Their Majesties The King and Queen.
On 15th April they hiked up to Tigers Nest, and in the evening attended a Reception hosted by the British Honorary Consul (Mr. Michael Rutland OBE) at the Taj Tashi Hotel. Invited guests included members of the British community in Bhutan and members of the Bhutan United Kingdom Alumni Association.
